The Malpas Vintage Machinery Association Ltd was founded in 1971 by a small group of vintage tractor and steam engine enthusiasts.

The first Malpas Yesteryear Rally was held in 1972 and is now held annually on the second weekend after the August Bank Holiday.

This years rally will be held on the 11th & 12th September 2010.
